About

I’m Thaïs Nina, a French pianist, composer, and online piano teacher based near Montpellier, in the south of France.

Music has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I received many years of conservatoire classical piano education, and also studied composition, violin, singing, music theory, sight reading, played in orchestras and sang in choirs. I spent years exploring both the discipline and freedom that music can offer.

Over time, I became just as fascinated by creating music as I was by performing it. That curiosity eventually led me to develop my own artistic voice. I released my debut EP last year, blending classical piano and ethereal vocals with orchestral metal influences—building a sound world that reflects both my classical foundation and my creative exploration.

Along the way, I also discovered how many adult music lovers have this strong desire: to create their own music… but feel unsure how to begin, overwhelmed by technique, or blocked by self-doubt. That’s why I now focus my teaching on something deeper than traditional piano lessons. I help music-loving adults reconnect with their creativity at the piano and learn how to compose their own pieces.

Alongside my teaching, I've had the pleasure of working with vocalists Pete Rawcliffe and Marlene Jani on piano-based acoustic covers of Nightwish and Evanescence, released on YouTube.
